Hey everyone! 🙂 So how’s the weekend rolling around for you? For me it’s going to be fun I can tell as I have a list of movies to watch and outings with friends! 😀 By the way, who watches Riverdale? I just started watching it. Well, today’s post is a review on Vedantika Herbals Anti Acne Mask, which I have been using for little over a month. (I’ve finished more than half of the bottle!) So hop in to know how it worked on my acne prone and oily skin!
My Experience With Vedantika Herbals Anti Acne Mask
I liked the packaging, it is simple and travel friendly. Since the plastic bottle is transparent you can keep track of the product used. The nozzle contains silver colored screw cap and a rubber lid, which I discarded. (Because I am too lazy to open the cap and the lid every time before usage! ?) By the way the bottle contains all the important labels.
The product is similar in color to Fuller’s Earth and it also contains Fuller’s Earth. It’s written that a teaspoon of the product can be used with either plain water or rose water. I have been using with just plain water. And instead of a spoon I used the cap (lazy again) and guess what? ? The quantity ensures enough paste to be applied on both face and neck.
The bottle contains finely milled powder. You can make the paste thin or thick as you prefer. I like mine to be thick. The paste has these small gritted particles which provides scrubbing feeling, while applying the paste on the skin. The product is a blend of herbs so contains herbal smell, which did not bother my nose at all. But it may bother some people. (My sissy made faces whenever she sniffed the paste’s smell in the air, as I was applied.) Anyways the smell doesn’t linger around for a long time.
I have been using this anti acne mask twice a week, post scrubbing. My acne condition is mild to moderate and due to the weather in Mumbai? my skin has been producing oil like crazy after every 2 hours! ? And using this face mask twice a week has been helping with both my acne and the oiliness.
As I apply this mask on my face it feels cool, relaxing and literally feels like the magical herbs in it are doing their magic! ? I can feel the cooling sensation on my skin till the pack has dried completely. It takes around 25 minutes to dry and yes it does feel uncomfortable to talk so I don’t talk till then. ?
Once the pack have dried it comes off easily with normal tap water. I splash water on my face a few times then I scrub my face to remove the pack completely. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure that the pack has been rinsed off properly. As there are chances that it will stain your face towel. (It stained mine but that does matter to me.)
And here’s the most important part which I am sure many of you wants to know! ? Yes, it does work on acne. In fact it helps to reduce acne inflammation and also cures acne with consistent usage. It also heals the lesions with time. The texture of my skin has also improved! ?
However it does not prevent future breakouts. Not that I was expecting that as my acne condition is hereditary. But I believe that everyone with an acne prone skin will love this face mask!
It has been helping to keep the breakouts in control this Summer. Otherwise you can find some nasty breakouts on my skin this time of the year. So I would like to purchase this in future! ?
Considering its quantity and price it is definitely quite affordable too.
