If you have come across this article, then the chances are that you are sick and tired of buying high-end skin products. Well, congratulations, you have stopped serving the exploitative high-end brands. A few years ago I decided to cut down on products that were not safe for the environment due to their manufacturing processes and products that consisted of unnecessary chemicals. I wanted to have a more natural and organic way of life, and I started using the below-mentioned herbs for beautiful and glowing skin. Not only do these herbs help me follow my ideology; they are cheap and highly effective too.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a skin care herb that you have already heard of. Not only does it give you smooth and glowing skin, but it can also make you get rid of inflammation and sunburn. If you have spent some time in the sun recently this is the plant that you should use. All you have to do is break off a small part that you can use, cut it in the middle and use a spoon to take the gel out without causing a mess. You can mix the gel in rose water and spray it whenever you get a chance.

Apart from your skin, it can also work wonders for both your scalp and your hair. It is also a viable solution for a lot of scalp related illnesses.

Lavender

If you are tired of applying loads of foundation to cover up your acne and you are looking for a permanent solution, then you should try lavender. Not only can it limit your foundation use, it can also get rid of the redness and acne scars.

Apart from a solution for acne, it is also a solution for Eczema and any other dry skin related illness.  While Eczema usually happens to kids, a friend of mine recently had to go through it due to her aggravated asthma condition and using lavender helped a great deal. If you use lavender regularly, it will also prevent you from getting wrinkles later on in life.

Nowadays it can be found in different products, or you can find the original essence at any nearby herbal medical store.

Calendula

A skin tightening mask costs a lot more than a lot of people can afford. If you want to make sure that you don’t have droopy skin when you grow up, then you should use it at least three times a week. Unlike Aloe Vera, you should not use this plant directly. Look for its extract from the nearby store and apply it with rosewater to get better results.

Apart from skin tightening and skin lightening, it also prevents you from getting sunburnt. It works like those three in one expensive face wash that we all use; it prevents from sunburn, makes sure that the pollution does not harm your skin and makes your skin tone lighter.

If you are a diabetic patient and it takes a longer time for your wound to heal then this is a herbal solution to your problem. Also, it can help relieve your wounds at a much faster rate.

Cannabis and Kratom

Cannabis and kratom are two herbs from the same family. Not only are they an easy solution to get rid of many skin related diseases; they are also well known to be applied on burnt skin. It helps with the burning sensation, and it can even get rid of scars that form later on.

A significant number of people are concerned with its psychotic properties. However, they should know that the FDA tests its extracts and it contains only small traces of toxins. So you must try Cananbis and Kratom for glowing skin that is everyone’s dream.

Burdock Root

Burdock is a herb not many people know about. While it is famous in the food circles not many people know about its benefits for the skin. It is an anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, root.  Nevertheless, you should let it dry and then use its powder along with rose water together. Before using it; however, you should apply it to a small patch of skin to make sure you don’t have an allergic reaction.

The herbs mentioned above also have significant properties that can benefit your skin in many different ways. Nonetheless, before starting to use any herb regularly, you should consult a specialist and get an allergy test. Since these herbs are not customarily used we don’t have a clear idea of whether or not we are allergic to them. It is better to ask the doctor first so that you don’t have to face some problem later on.

Don’t start using them daily; start from a few times a week and see how your skin reacts to it. Sometimes one may suit your skin type better than the other, so you need to be sure before making it a part of your routine.

Aloe vera has been No. 1 on my grandma list from ages and surely her skin is ever glowing even when she just turned 82. No chemical cosmetics can ever replace these herbs coming directly from mother earth.

We always have a supply of aloe vera on hand. It’s so great for sunburns (which my daughter gets easily on her fair Irish skin) and great for bug bites too.

I think rose water should be on your list! Ha! I love all your suggestions. I am interested in the cannabis one, is it the CBC oil you are referring to?
