Hey, guys, I am back with another coffee face pack! After trying out this DIY Coffee Face Pack for Pimples I thought of making one more for everyday glowing skin and to remove tan. For this DIY face mask, I have used only 3 ingredients straight from my kitchen. So dive in to check out which 3 ingredients you will be needing!

How to Make Coffee Face Pack for Glowing Skin

As said earlier you only need 3 ingredients and these ingredients are pretty powerful on their own!

  1. Coffee powder (Of course!)
  2. Turmeric powder
  3. Honey

To make this face pack cum scrub for glowing skin: In a bowl add- 1 teaspoon coffee powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and 2 teaspoons honey. Mix this well and the result will be a gooey paste due to honey.

This can be used 4 to 5 times after which you will have to make a new one. I store this in the refrigerator for later use.

Direction of Use

You can either use a face pack brush or your fingertips to apply this DIY coffee mask. For this face pack, I like to use my fingertips as it picks up the tiny gritty particles too.

To use it as a face pack, you can apply this every day. (I prefer using a face pack daily in the late evening. For me, it is a short de-stressing session and I love doing it! 🙂 )

To use it as a face scrub, you can use this twice in a week.

Will rinsing use lukewarm water and gently scrub to get rid of the dead skin. We have used turmeric and it has a natural yellow color to it. So use a mild face wash later to remove the light yellow stain. Follow up with your favorite face mist and moisturizer.

As shared earlier this is my second DIY face pack with coffee and I am loving it! I was surprised at how good coffee powder is for the skin from my previous DIY coffee mask.

Coffee can be used as a natural skin lightening agent. Hence it fights tan and brings natural glow in the skin. Not only this but it also helps in lessening the appearance of hyperpigmentation. I have acne prone skin so the power of coffee + turmeric + honey makes a cheap face pack to tame pimples. Also, caffeine is filled with loads of goodness for the skin! And one of which is its anti-inflammatory property. So it is a solution on its own to many skin issues.

We all know that turmeric is antiseptic and it can be safely applied on the wound as well. Here in India, we have a ‘Haldi Ceremony’ before marriage. This is done to add a natural glow to the skin. And that is why I chose to add turmeric to make this face pack stronger to achieve glowing skin.

Honey alone is so good for the skin! Oily, combination or dry, no matter what your skin type is. You can apply honey on your face anytime! And it is one of my favorite ingredients to add in DIYs. Its antibacterial and nourishing properties make skin soft and supple.

Note: My skin is oily, acne prone and sensitive. I haven’t observed any irritation after using this. So I can safely recommend it for you all to try. But still, to be on a safer side I suggest doing a patch test beforehand.

Also Note: Please don’t make any DIY in huge quantity. For any DIY try to finish it within 10 to 15 days. Due to the coffee content in this face mask, it has a very strong fragrance which might bother some people. I love the coffee smell so it doesn’t bother me. But if it bothers you then please add a few drops of any essential oil of your choice of fragrance.

Final Note

I call this honey, coffee, and turmeric mask as one of the best and effective DIY face pack cum scrub for skin smoothing, polishing and for radiant skin. These 3 potent ingredients fight common skin problems like- dullness, pimples, and tan. With regular usage, it will lighten the tan and impart a healthy glow to your skin. Let me know if you are going to try it soon! 🙂

With this and other coffee scrubs and masks, is it ok to use “used” expresso grounds? I make expresso daily and have made a body scrub with the leftovers before, but wondering if that is really ok to do?

I would suggest using powdered coffee. As applying it as a mask on the face becomes easy and it gives even application too!

Coffee is supposed to have a lot of anti-oxidants which are good for the skin. I have all of these ingredients at home, and would love to do this when I have a girls’ night.

I can only imagine that this recipe smells absolutely amazing! I just can’t quite bring myself to use my expensive coffee for this, so I’ll have to go buy a traditional grocery store brand of coffee and give this a try.
