Hey people! 🙂 Today’s review is about this anti-cavity toothpaste from Colgate. It’s Colgate Sugar Acid Neutralizer Toothpaste. This is one of my favourite toothpaste! And I have been using this religiously for more than 2 years. I love it so much that I can’t even think of opting for any other toothpaste in future! Well lets get into the review…
Price And Quantity:
Rs.96 for 200g. (Available in other size.)
Directions To Use Colgate Sugar Acid Neutralizer Toothpaste:
My experience with Colgate Sugar Acid Neutralizer Toothpaste:
It comes inside a Colgate’s cartoon box with all the necessary information mentioned on the pack. The entire packaging is of purple and silver in color. The toothpaste tube has screw cap, which closes tight and hence the toothpaste is travel friendly.
Fragrance And Taste
It contains standard Colgate toothpaste taste and smell, which is kind of sweet and minty (little bit). The toothpaste is white in color. I have never experienced mouth burning while using this toothpaste and on lips while brushing.
Effectiveness of Colgate Sugar Acid Neutralizer Toothpaste:
As I said earlier that I have been using this for more than 2 years, I use it twice a day sometimes even thrice.
So about two years ago, I had active cavities in bottom second and third molars. No matter which toothpaste I used, cavities still remained and kept increasing. I tooth this issue very seriously and my hunt for an anti-cavity toothpaste began.
One fine day, I was watching TV and then an Ad of this toothpaste pops up. I was really impressed by the Ad and thought of giving this toothpaste a try. Since the day I bought this till now I have been loving this so much! I have been recommending this to my family members and friends and I know most of us have grown up using toothpastes from Colgate.
Not just this toothpaste reduced my cavities but using it consistently the cavities are completely gone! And now it looks like I never had cavities in my back molars. Also this works so well for yellow and dingy looking teeth by reducing teeth stain. (I am a regular coffee drinker and I don’t have any teeth stains from coffee!) This toothpaste won’t make your teeth pearly white but will make your teeth look naturally white.
Also when I got my braces off, some of friends who had braces and some who were going to get braces had questions like: How did you not get teeth stains? Did you get your teeth bleached/polished/whitened? (By teeth stains I mean, the appearance of those white squares surrounded by yellow looking teeth, where brackets were placed.)I began using this toothpaste a few days prior to getting braces. I did not have any of such stains because I was using this toothpaste! 🙂 It also prevents bad breath and along with this don’t forget to clean your tongue regularly! (I clean my tongue whenever I brush.)
Along with cavities and plaque it also reduces and prevents tartar build-up. But I would still like to recommend you if incase you have a lot of plaque and tatar build-up, get it cleaned from a Dentist. As this toothpaste only works on active teeth stains, plaque, tartar, cavities and prevents them.
So, the only disappointing factor is that this toothpaste only works on active and growing cavities. I have a tiny cavity on a tooth and that I have been having for years. So this toothpaste did nothing on that particular cavity but it preveted further cavity increase and damage so I am happy about that!
Overall, I am happy with this product! Make sure you use the right toothbrush too. (I use Pepsodent Gum Expert Toothbrush.)
