I have been using Labello pearly shine caring lip balm for many months now. And it still hasn’t finished yet! Most lip balms tend to get over within 4 or 5 months especially the stick ones. But this one has lasted me for quite a while now! If you have seen My skincare routine post then you may have noticed this Labello lip balm. It was a blind buy by my Dada (Grandpa) on his visit to Dubai. I only told him to get me a tinted lip balm mostly with a pink tint. He also got me a perfume called Guess by Marciano which I totally love! Anyways, to my disappointment, this is not a tinted lip balm but I still have been using it. And today I thought of reviewing. Hop on to read the review!
Labello Pearly Shine Caring Lip Balm Experience
It comes in this card paper packaging with all the important details on it. The lip balm looks very cute due to its color! The twist up mechanism also works pretty well. When closing the cap a ‘tick’ sound can be heard. Sometimes, I also carry it around with me to moisturize my lips and never it has happened that I found the bullet open.
It has an amazing bubble gum kind of a smell which I love! It reminds me of those fancy bubble gums and erases which I would use when I was a lil babe! The color which you see in the swatch below, it exactly shows up like this on the lips as well. But, only if the lips aren’t pigmented. Meaning, if they are naturally of pink or light color. And this is the reason why many people may not like this lip balm because it looks very off on pigmented or dark lips. I wouldn’t suggest you use it either.
It looks a mix of light pinkish-silverish color on the lips. With a lot of shine. It may feel a bit waxy when using for the first time. Only a bit but does not feel heavy on the lips. It does its job very well at moisturizing and that’s the reason why I have been using it for so long.
My lips are slightly pigmented, dry and prone to getting chapped and flaky. Since I have started using this lip balm they stay well moisturized and does not chap! But yes, I do notice a bit of flakiness on my bottom lip from time to time. But it is nothing when compared to before!
I use this lip balm twice a day. Once after a bath and once when I am done with my night routine. The other times and especially when I’m heading out in sun I like to use my baby lips pink lolita lip balm, which also has SPF in it.
I’m more of a tinted lip balm lover. So I was a bit disappointed after seeing that it only provides some shine. And that’s the reason why I may not like to buy it again in future- because it is not tinted!
Overall, this is a good lip balm if you face chapped lips often. A good pocket-friendly lip balm to add to your night routine, which is definitely going to last for long!

I liked it!
Labello pearly shine caring lip balm does its job well at moisturizing lips and keeping them chapped free. However, it is not a must have due to two reasons. One- it does not have SPF, so it can only be used when at home or in night routine. Second- there are many lip balms available in this price range for moisturizing purpose and this one has availability issues in India!
So for others, if you were thinking to try this lip balm. You can give it a shot as it heals chapped lips and also prevents them from getting chap. You may or may not experience a slight flaky situaion once in a while!
