Hey people! 🙂 I have been using some anti acne products recently and one of them is the Lass Naturals Neem And Basil Soap Free Face Wash, which claims to eliminate acne causing bacteria. So, how did it fare my acne prone skin? Well, you gotta hop into the review!
My Experience With Lass Naturals Neem And Basil Soap Free Face Wash
The face wash comes in a squeezable inverted tube, which is transparent and contains all the important labels. The flip flop cap shuts tight, but can’t say that it is travel friendly as whenever I reach out to use it, the area around the cap is always slimy. (Could also be because I rest the tube on its cap.) So, I always rinse the area around the cap before using. The fragrance is very mild and natural. Has a distinct smell of basil, which feels very cool to my senses. Did not bother my nose at all.
The product appears to be green in the tube but it contains only a hint of green color to it, it’s almost colorless. It is gel like in texture and runny in consistency. Due to being soap free in nature, it doesn’t form a rich lather like other face washes. But lathers enough to clean the skin very well.
Due to the weather in Mumbai, my skin has been throwing tantrums! My combination with mild acne prone skin has turned to oily with moderate acne. You won’t believe if I say that after washing my face within the next 3 hours it is oily again! As if oil has been slapped on my face! :/ So I have been washing my face with this face wash from Lass Naturals, 4-5 times a day. Not only it is perfect for acne and oily skin but also mild and non-irritating. (As I have been using it too much!)
It effectively cleans my face, removes the oil and dirt. Post usage my skin feels soft and refreshed. I can feel firmness in my skin as it claims to tighten the pores. Not much of a difference for the nak*d eyes but definitely my pores feel tighter. It does not dry out my skin and neither my skin feels stretchy from using it several times in a day. I can also skip moisturiser after using this face wash. (I anyways avoid using moisturisers & facial oils at all cost as they cause me more breakouts!)
However, I cannot tell much difference in my mild to moderate acne, which I have been facing recently. But since the day I started using this face wash it truely helps to clean the oil and does not lead to further breakouts, i.e, it helps prevent breakouts when used consistently. And with regular usage I believe I will see a positive difference in my acne soon.
