Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel Review | A Multi-Purpose Skin Care Product?
Hellow, beautiful people! I hope you are doing well! 🙂
So, my Khadi aloe vera gel was about to finish and I was looking to try a new aloe vera gel. And that’s when I thought of trying this Patanjali aloe vera gel. I remember when Patanjali products were new and just getting famous, everyone was going crazy about this aloe vera gel! And you probably must have used it too! So, I have been using this aloe vera gel not only in my skincare but also in my DIYs lately. In this post, I will be showing you how I use this aloe vera gel in various skincare & makeup needs!
Patanjali aloe vera gel review
It comes in a transparent inverted tube packaging with an orange flip open cap. All the important details are also mentioned on the tube in the Hindi language. Which was kind of difficult for me to read because I’m very slow when it comes to reading anything other than English!
This is 90% pure aloe vera gel and also it has got added color and fragrance. The gel is very light and non-sticky and applies smoothly on the skin. The fragrance very refreshing! I’m glad that it wasn’t chemically!
I take only a pea size amount for facial use and it gets absorbed into the skin quickly without making my skin appear sticky, oily or shiny! Which I really, really love! I would also like to try the other gel variant in the future soon. Have you use it?
how to use Patanjali aloe vera gel on face
Aloe vera gel can itself be used for various skin care and hair care needs. I have been using this gel mainly in 4 ways and I’ll share my short experiences with it.
Patanjali aloe vera gel review & uses
As a moisturizer As my skin is oily and I have large open pores, I tend to break out if I use creamy moisturizers. So I use this every day to hydrate and nourish my skin. I would like to talk about on one claim here that is- dark spots. It does not remove any dark spots. I have some going on around my face and they are as it is. But this definitely helps in nourishing the skin!
As an under eye gel From the past week, I started using this gel on my under eyes area and eyelids and my eyes do look and feel hydrated and lively! Can’t comment on the dark circles though as they happen from stress and sleep issues. So, on the days when I’m sleeping well, I see almost no dark circles!
As a primer This idea of using Patanjali aloe vera gel as a primer has been out for a while. It’s a great hack because it does the job both of hydrating and prepping the face! So these days I’m consistently using this as a primer too and got to tell you that my makeup base goes on very smoothly on top of it! Did I mention that it controls oil & shine too?
Can be used in DIYs too!
Is Patanjali aloe vera gel good for oily skin?
I have oily and acne prone skin and my skin sure is loving it! It not only helps to hydrate the skin but also helps in controlling facial oil quite to a great extent! And that’s why it works as a good budget-friendly primer too! So if you have oily or combination skin, you’ll love it! It does not only suit oily skin but other skin types too!

I love it!
I love a multi-purpose product and so I love this one too! If you haven’t used it yet then I will suggest you try using it and of the 4 ways how I use! I bought this from a local store which also sells Patanjali products. So try searching in your area if it’s available. And of course, it would be! And if not, then you can get it online too! If you are already using this aloe vera gel then let me know how you use it?
