St. Botanica Moroccan Argan Shampoo Review

St. Botanica Moroccan Argan Shampoo Review

Something’s really wrong with the weather these days! I mean here in Mumbai it is raining and it is cold at the same time! And as this month began cold it really takes a toll on hair health. Well, in general, winter does take a toll on our hair health. To top it off, it’s raining here too! And especially for a frizzy hair bear (Oh, nah I’m skinny but you get it!) like me, my already super frizzy hair makes every day a bad hair day for me! So during this season, I suggest avoiding any shampoo with sulphates and paraben in it. And luckily, last month St. Botanica sent this baby to me! I’ve been trying it for some time, let’s hop into the review!

I completely have fallen in love with its packaging! It screams all luxe, easy to use and mess free! The bottle is quite bigger in size which sits in my bathroom cabinet. The bottle has all the important details mentioned on it too. Its pump packaging is very easy to use which has also got a lock mechanism. The shampoo is glossy white in colour and is runny in consistency. It does not form a rich lather but lathers enough to cleanse the scalp and hairs effectively. The next thing that I really love about this shampoo is its fragrance! Its got a very pleasant and calming fragrance!

As usual, I have been washing my hairs twice a week. My hairs are wavy and frizzy in nature. They also lack lustre & shine and are also prone to breakage. Normally, when I switch shampoos I do notice a bit more hair fall than usual. But with this one, the hair fall was normal while rinsing.

This shampoo cleanses the scalp effectively. But to remove hair oil you do need to use more shampoo. I do follow a regular hair oiling, conditioning and hair serum routine. (To tame my frizzy hairs!) Once I started using this shampoo I noticed that my hairs feel softer than before also they feel bouncy! Which I really really love! Since I was attending a lot of weddings, the bounce in my hair made them look alive! However, I couldn’t see any shine induced by this shampoo. As my hairs are frizzy they are also on the drier side so there is no shine to it. And that’s why I have to consistently use a hair serum!

So, anyhow, I quite liked this shampoo learning that it did not make my hairs frizzier. Most of the shampoos with paraben, sulphate etc etc…. make my hair go more frizzy and lifeless during this time of the year! So, I’m glad that I have this bottle which is going to last me for a few months!

Final Verdict

I like it!

Yep, it’s pretty expensive but you can always find some discounts online. I’m calling out to all natural hair care freaks, who are all in to try ‘no paraben’ and ‘no sulphate’ shampoo, plus who don’t mind the price range, can give it a try! St. Botanica moroccan argan shampoo is suitable for all hair types. It does its job well at cleaning the scalp and hairs. And it does make the hairs softer with no crazy hair fall issues. However, I did not notice it providing any shine to my hairs. Which I expected it to do since it’s enriched with all nourishing oils. So, I can not call it a conditioning shampoo but glad that it’s not making my hair frizzy!

I have seen this brand on Amazon lots of times. But didn’t purchase as there weren’t much reviews online. From your review, I think its a decent enough shampoo worth a try…
