Get to your bed early and aim to rise early as well. This is probably the toughest of all, but it says once you follow it for 21 days, it becomes a habit. I have personally tried it and found that it works.

If you have a tough time getting up, keep the alarm far away from your bed. So that you have to wake up, walk and turn off the alarm. Immediately then make your bed, go to the bathroom and wash your face.

Cut down excess sugar, oil, spice, and salt. Choose organic foods if you can afford. Always try to eat your food in moderation and keep a track of your daily calories requirements and the actual intake. You can use a mobile application to help to track. This way, you make sure you don’t overeat.

#3 Regular Checkup

Have regular checkups with your doctor. Remember, being the doctor’s place at the right time can save a plenty of things. Do not forget to get a booking done with your dentist too. If you are a female, do not miss out the gynecologist as well. Do not ignore any persistent symptoms in your body. You are the one who should take care of your body and track its conditions.

#4 Drink Plenty Of Water

You have heard it many times before. But raise your hand if you follow it. Drink about 3 liters of water every day!

#5 Excercise At Least 5 Times A Week

Regular exercise and meditation help you a lot in staying fit and healthy. You can choose between meditation and exercise on alternate days. But don’t skip one as a whole. Always have a balance if you choose to follow both.

#9 Quit Smoking And Unhealthy Habits

Because you know why. A healthy body is necessary for a healthy mind. Work on quitting those ill habits and you will slowly start to see the difference. Think, Why do you have to spoil a healthy body spending lots of money? What is the use?

#10 Sleep Well

Always aim for an 8 hours sleep daily. Depending on your lifestyle and age, you can/might have to adjust with these hours. It is said that as you grow old, you will need only a few hours sleep. And that can keep you going. But until then try to get an utmost of 8 hours sleeps regularly. Your body works better this way.

    A lot of practical points but I disagree with the first one, on waking up early. I’m naturally a night owl, and I get my best work done in the evening which means I go to bed late and wake up late. Long story short, I hate waking up early and it doesn’t make me feel good. I think that should be the priority – feeling good. A healthy lifestyle always starts with what makes you happy and gives you positive energy in a sustainable way. What do you think?
